I am a 7th grade world history (social studies teacher) at a charter school in Santa Ana, California. I have a Bachelor's degree in history and a social science teaching credential, both from California State University Long Beach.  This is my third year teaching and the third year at the school. I like to blend technology with art and kinesthetic activities into my classroom's daily routines. Our favorite word in my room is "yet." We strive to maintain a growth mindset as lifelong learners. My goal is not only to teach my students about the world they live in, but also teach compassion for others to they can one day make the world a better place.
